Standalone Sub-Maximal Test

£200.00

Why trainSharp testing is different

Many “tests” stop at a number. We go further:

We interpret what your results mean for your riding (road, TT, gravel, tri, MTB)

We give you actionable zones and practical next steps

We can repeat testing in a consistent way so you can track real progress

You’re tested by a team that works daily with performance riders — not a generic gym protocol

If you’re investing time into training, this is the quickest way to make sure every session is aimed at the right target.

In addition to the initial physiological assessment, we recommend performing this test a couple of times during the year so the effectiveness of your training can be assessed and modifications can be made to your training plan. Ideally, we would suggest testing shortly before a key competition phase and towards the end of your season to establish 'off-season' training zones.

This is a sub-maximal, designed to take you just above Lactate Threshold. Blood lactate and heart rate will be measured during the test and then used to assess your endurance capability and identify your Lactate Thresholds.

What can I expect?
