Basic Frame & Size Fit – New Bike Sizing & Geometry
Basic Frame & Size Fit. New Bike Sizing & Geometry
A focused sizing and geometry session to help you choose the right frame size, stack/reach and contact points before you buy.
Who this fit is for
This is a pre-purchase fit for riders who are:
- Choosing between different brands or frame sizes
- Coming back to cycling and unsure what size they now need
- Moving from one style of bike to another (e.g. endurance → race, road → gravel)
Ideal if you want confidence that your next bike will actually fit you before you spend the money.
What we do in a Basic Frame & Size Fit
- Rider interview – your riding history, goals, injuries and flexibility background
- Key body measurements – height, inseam, torso, arms and shoulders
- Posture & flexibility check – a few simple on-the-spot assessments
- Test position on a fit bike or your current bike – to find a realistic reach and bar drop
- We calculate your ideal stack, reach, saddle height and setback and talk through what that means in bike choices
You’ll leave with:
- Recommended frame size(s) in your chosen brand(s)
- Ideal stack & reach numbers to compare different bikes
- Suggested stem length, bar width and saddle position
Perfect if you’re asking…
“Should I get a 52 or a 54?”
“Will this aggressive race bike actually work for me?”
“What geometry should I be looking for for long-distance comfort?”
