Our Sidas Custom Insoles are 100% custom-moulded to your feet in our studio at Shortgate Industrial Park, near Lewes in East Sussex. A flat Sidas insole is heated and then shaped to the exact contours of each foot, creating a supportive footbed that matches your unique arch, heel and forefoot. 

These aren’t just for cycling shoes, they can be used in:

What happens in your custom insole appointment?

A typical session takes around 45–60 minutes and includes:

Foot & posture assessment

Brief chat about your activities (work, sport, daily life) and any problems you’re having

• Visual check of your foot shape, arch type and general posture

Choosing the right insole type

 We select the most suitable Sidas insole model for how you’ll use it (e.g. everyday, cycling, running, ski/boot, etc.)  

Heat-moulding process

• A flat Sidas Custom insole is gently heated to soften the material
• You stand on the Sidas moulds so we can position your feet correctly
• The warm insoles are then shaped under your feet, capturing the exact contours of your arches and heel

Finishing & fitting

• The insoles are cooled and trimmed to fit your chosen shoes
• We check the fit in your shoes and make final tweaks if needed
• You’ll leave wearing your new insoles and with advice on breaking them in

The result is a pair of insoles that hug the shape of your feet, helping to:

• Spread pressure more evenly
• Improve stability and alignment
• Reduce unwanted movement inside the shoe
• Enhance comfort for longer periods on your feet 

Use them in more than one pair of shoes

Many people start with insoles for one activity (for example, cycling shoes) and then realise how much better their feet feel. You can:

• Move your custom insoles between similar shoes (e.g. different trainers or different pairs of work shoes), or 
• Order a second pair at a reduced price if you’d like a set dedicated to another shoe or boot.
